This Digital Frame is the Gift That Keeps on Giving

Why I Got Rid of My Tesla After Just 3 Months

I got rid of my Tesla after three months. Not because it wasn’t a great car – it was. The acceleration? Unmatched. The tech? Brilliant. From hyper-detailed parking cameras to cruise control that basically drives for you, and the on-screen person/car/truck detection that wowed every passenger. But the charging? A waking nightmare. I live in a London flat – no driveway, no home charger, and the lamp post chargers on my street required an unavailable BP card. White City’s so-called “easy” superchargers? Took me multiple car parks, three apps, and a near breakdown on 6% battery to find. Even at my parents’ house, a full charge took over 24 hours. And don’t get me started on the phone key – supposedly smart, but I was constantly convinced I’d left the car unlocked. Yes, it’s cheaper to run. Yes, it's eco. But the stress and inconvenience cancelled it all out. I loved the Tesla. I just couldn’t live with it.

Do you remember those digital photo frames that had a moment about 8 years ago? Well, they are back, and they’ve had a makeover (thank god).

Introducing the Aura digital frame, which has been such a pleasant addition to my home. The Aura app makes it easier than ever to update your frame and add in new images to your slideshow. You simply open the app, tap the photos you want to add, and then you see them slideshow on your frame! And its not just photos, you can even share videos to the frame too which makes it extra interactive.

Not only is this frame a chic addition to my living room, but it has bought me so much joy to watch my memories from the past few years swipe by. Granted, they are mostly of my dog, but there are also some family trip images thrown in there, which has highly impressed my parents when they have been over. So much so, its my mother birthday gift request and even her best friends!

If I had any grandparents left, I would absolutely gift this to them. It makes the most perfect gift for any loved ones who may not be as mobile as they once were, or live far away – its a way of sharing memories with those who matter. The app feature also allows multiple people to collaborate with the photo sharing, meaning the whole family can contribute to the memories.

Do you have any birthdays coming up? Make sure to grab an Aura frame! I have the Carver frame, and I highly recommend it.
