A note from our editor

Charlotte

In a world where the rapid pace of technological advancement can often leave individuals feeling overwhelmed and disconnected, Femme Tech stands as a passionate advocate for bridging the gap and making technology a realm accessible to all genders.

From a young age, I developed an insatiable curiosity for all things tech-related, with the passion igniting from getting my very first pink iPod nano for my birthday. I remember being fascinated at how many songs it held, how I could download more music, what other models were on the market and what I could find out about this amazing new device I had!

Our aim here at Femme Tech is to curate meticulously crafted content, insightful reviews, and engaging discussions for our users. We aim to decipher complex tech concepts but also connect with readers on a human level, breaking down barriers of intimidation that technology often presents. At the heart of Femme Tech’s journey is a burning desire to shatter stereotypes and dispel the notion that technology was a male-dominated realm. In every article, every video, and every interaction, Femme Tech is consciously fostering an environment of inclusivity, understanding, and encouragement. Through these efforts, we hope to inspire countless individuals, particularly those from underrepresented genders, to explore the limitless possibilities that technology holds.

Benedetta is a London-based writer and freelancer working in slow fashion, born and raised in the South of Italy. Benedetta writes about fashion, theatre, literature, music, subcultures and pop culture. When she’s not pitching/writing articles and reviews, she is probably wandering aimlessly around London, and/or editing my fiction novel.

Manon Munerez

Contributing editor

I’m Manon, a Parisian at heart now living in London. My journey in writing began in a household filled with books, thanks to my mother, a dedicated book publisher. Her influence gave me a passion for reading, which naturally transformed into a passion for writing.

Lucy Morgan

CONTRIBUTING EDITOR

Lucy is currently studying English Literature in her final year at The University of Manchester, whilst writing for the Fashion and Beauty team for her university newspaper and The Tab, as well as Femme Tech. Currently, with bases in Brighton and Manchester, Lucy studied fashion journalism at Conde Nast which ignited her zeal for writing about lifestyle, features, fashion and beauty, pop culture, relationships and entertainment, alongside learning about the inner workings of the fashion industry. If she is not writing or reading articles, she is most likely at a yoga studio, devouring a novel or planning an extravagant costume for a themed party.
