HANX, a UK-based women’s health brand, is expanding into weight management with the launch of GLP-1 medications—Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide). Known for its intimate care products, HANX is now broadening its offerings to address the weight management needs of women, especially those with conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and menopause.

These medications work by reducing cravings, lowering blood sugar levels, and slowing gastric emptying, helping patients feel fuller longer. Dr. Sarah Welsh, Co-Founder of HANX, notes that many women find lifestyle changes alone insufficient for weight loss, particularly during menopause or when dealing with conditions like PCOS. “By offering medications alongside educational resources, we aim to provide effective support for women’s weight management,” she says.

The new Weight Management Programme includes a digital health consultation, a prescription for Mounjaro or Wegovy if suitable, and access to resources like calorie-controlled recipes and exercise plans. Patients also receive monthly check-ins to track progress and ensure long-term success.
